"The Arthur G. Dozier School for Boys operated for more than a century near the Panhandle town of Marianna before it was shut down by the State of Florida in 2011. A reform school, Dozier acquired a well-documented reputation for brutal physical and sexual abuse of boys incarcerated there. Investigations continue into the staggering number of deaths at the facility; more than fifty burial sites have been identified. In the second of a multi-part series, Aware show host Dee Dee Sharp interviews Elmore Bryant, former mayor of Marianna and a former Dozier employee, as well as two Florida NAACP officials: Lewis Jennings (in studio), and Dale Landry (via telephone). The men are community activists who have helped uncover the truth about Dozier. They also have been involved in the the University of South Florida's archaeological investigation of the grave sites discovered at the facility. Excerpts from Part 1 of the Aware series are included in this program, in which survivors Robert Straley and Andrew Puell relate their experiences. There is frank, graphic discussion of physical and sexual abuse suffered and witnessed at the notorious state institution. Viewer discretion is advised."

McCormick has co-written number one hits like "Take a Little Ride" by Jason Aldean and Brantley Gilbert's "You Don' t Know Her Like I Do" In addition to those two hits, his songs have been recorded by premier artists like Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw and Randy Travis.
