Jeff Weeks hosts an in-depth interview with iconic photojournalist Steve McCurry. McCurry has photographed many international conflicts, and he is renowned for his breathtaking views of Tibet and images shot on six continents during his celebrated career. On August 27, McCurry discussed his work and travels at the Pensacola Saenger Theatre during an event to help fund expansion of the Anna Lamar Switzer Center for Visual Arts at Pensacola State College. A collection of his work entitled ?The Importance of Elsewhere,? which features the famous ?Afghan Girl? portrait from a 1985 cover of National Geographic, remains at the Switzer Center and will be on exhibit through December 12.
