THE WILDERNESS ACT AT 60 "This American Land" kicks off Season 12 with a celebration of one of the world's most important conservation measures. Since its passage in 1964, the Wilderness Act assures the strongest protections for clean air, clean water, wildlife, and the scientific understanding of our natural world.
