Franklin Park Conservatory Gingerbread House Competition: Now in its 16th year, the Franklin Park Conservatory hosts its popular Gingerbread House competition. This year’s theme is vintage throwback. It encourages contestants to design houses that celebrate their favorite era. We talked to a judge about criteria as well as one former, multi-year winner about her strategy.
