It's called the "invisible disease," yet according to the American Cancer Society, lung cancer claims about 127,000 lives each year - roughly the same amount as breast, pancreatic, and prostate cancer combined. That's why when former optometrist John, 77, learned he had a PD-L1 expression non-small cell lung cancer, he prepared for the worst. While he was able to undergo chemotherapy, his health only declined further. But John found renewed hope when he qualified for an alternative treatment that offered better results.
