The Canadian Government is calling drug overdoses from opioids like Fentanyl, a public health crisis. Kevin McCarthy has become the first Speaker of the House to be voted out of office in U.S. history. A small group of far-right Republicans, led by Florida Representative Matt Gaetz, successfully challenged McCarthy's leadership through a 216 to 210 vote.
