(2007) Using color transparencies and pen and ink drawings, an artist illustrates the traditional tale of the Pied Piper who rid the town of Hamelin from its problem with rats. When the Mayor refuses to pay him the agreed fee, the Piper plays a very cheerful tune on his pipes luring away all the boys and girls of Hamelin. The Mayor looks for him in despair and when he finds him, begs his forgiveness, pays him what his due, and the children return to Hamelin.
