To Eat Or Not to Eat/S.W.E.A.T.
To Eat or Not to Eat - A brand new candy bar is in town! But why is it making everyone act so strangely? And what exactly is this ingredient called Tri-Enzomated Zorn Jelly, anyway? Buster decides to do a little digging into these mystery chemicals before he takes his first bite but he - and all the other kids - may not find the truth appetizing. S.W.E.A.T. - It's time for the kids at Lakewood Elementary to take the Stoddard-Wilkins Elementary Aptitude Test, or "S.W.E.A.T." But with anxiety running high, it becomes clear that the kids need to learn some relaxation techniques. Luckily, Mrs. MacGrady is on hand to teach them a thing or two about de-stressing.
Ready Jet Go!
You Can Call Me Albedo/The Tide Is Hig
It's evening at the cul-de-sac, and the kids are looking at two asteroids through Sean's telescope - one is light-colored and one is dark. Meanwhile, Mitchell's dog Cody seems to have run away because he doesn't like the black sweater Mitchell put on him. The kids learn about how, just like asteroids, some things are easier to see in the dark than others, like a white card is easier to see than Cody's black sweater. This amount of brightness is called "albedo." The kids go to their local beach to surf, but notice that the beach looks completely different from the last time they stood there. There's way more sand, and the ocean is far away! They decide to be detectives and study what has happened, and learn that the larger and smaller beach is caused by the tides - the rising and falling of the ocean.
Nature Cat
A Prickly Problem/A Shedtime Story
Oh no! Norman the Squirrel and the rest of the woodland creatures are scared. There was a porcupine sighting in the woods, so they're all hiding in Hal's doghouse to stay safe. Stay safe? What's so scary about porcupines? Well, according to Norman the Squirrel, the quills on porcupines' back are like sharp needles and porcupines can even shoot them at you from far away. So scary! But Daisy isn't convinced. It's time for a little scientific investigation to debunk this nature myth! / What in the woods is wrong with Hal today? He is so itchy, and begins to scratch all over, which causes some of his fur to fall off. This alarms Nature Cat who thinks that Hal has the Fury Flu and he will lose all his hair! When Daisy and Squeeks are the next to get itchy, and some of their hair falls out, Nature Cat thinks that the Fury Flu is contagious and runs off. He doesn't want to lose all his hair too!

Dreamin' California's Coast - Malibu to Big Sur
Joseph and Julie are California Dreamin' as they celebrate their anniversary along the state's romantic coast. They join up with a California Luxury Tour which begins in Southern California in their hometown of Topanga and travels to the nearby Getty Villa where they partake of the glory that was Greece and Rome. From there they follow the winding coast to Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo County and then northward to the edge of the Big Sur. Highlights of their adventure include wine tasting in the sampling rooms of some of Malibu's little-known, but star-studded wineries, visiting Santa Barbara's famous mission, horseback riding on the Pismo dunes, soaking their bones at Sycamore Hot Springs and strolling the peddle-strewn beaches of Cambria. California Dreamin' takes on new meaning when they imagine life among splendor that is Hearst Castle in San Simeon - where the rich and famous once played at being common folk. The sun dramatically sets on their adventure at the world-famous Point Dume State Beach in Malibu.

Armenia - Ancient History and Modern Traditions, Part 1
While today Armenia is the size of Maryland, it once stretched from the Caspian to the Mediterranean Sea and from Persia to the Caucasus. Armenia is older than Christianity and within its ancient borders lies Mt. Ararat, the final resting place of Noah's ark, and although now lost to Turkey, the 16,000-foot mountain still stands as a symbol of Armenian persistence. The Armenian survival has been forged in the furnaces of war and genocide and their centuries of struggle is an integral part of their national identity, as is their language, religion and cultural heritage. In Part 1, Joseph crisscrosses Armenia to ancient sites where some of the world's oldest artifacts have been discovered. From roadside fruit stands to riverside wine stalls and bustling markets, Joseph is welcomed into local homes to witness traditional artisans at work and join in religious and communal celebrations that inspire, enlighten and reveal the Armenian heart and soul.

Abc Islands: The Dutch Legacy in the Caribbean
The last vestiges of the once-mighty Dutch empire live on in the Caribbean islands of Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao. David visits Curacao, now independent, and wanders the streets of Willemstad, its capital city. In its colonial buildings, he finds hints of a past glory made possible by the slave trade. In Bonaire, still a colony, he dons Scuba gear to mingle with its incomparable marine life. Then, he witnesses the extraction of tons of salt from Bonaire's tidal flats. Finally, David treks into a national park home to dense groves of tall cacti, hordes of lizards and tranquil flamingos.
