OSU MARCHING BAND’S FIRST BLIND MEMBER: GREG DANIEL: Becoming a member of the Ohio State Marching band takes talent, hard work and perseverance. While there are countless stories about students overcoming the odds and finding their place on the field, Greg Daniel has a story unlike any other. In 1971 he became the first blind member of the band and remained a member of the band all four years he was at Ohio State.
