Isla Holbox, just north of Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, is located within a protected nature reserve and so far, has remained unspoiled by mass tourism. There are no chain stores and no big resorts. The streets are paved with sand and so are many of the shops and cafes. The architecture is frequently open walled huts with thatched roofs made of dried palm leaves lashed to a wood frame. Kitchens are frequently outdoors. For convenience, there is a taxi-like system of golf carts and bikes. There is also a spectacular beach, kitesurfing, kayaking in mangroves, boat tours, and whale-watching. It is also one of the most famous places in the Caribbean to snorkel with massive (but friendly and plankton-eating) whale sharks. Digit is going on his annual visit to Mermaidos, an underwater cybersite filled with merfolk, to visit one of his best friends in the whole cyber-world-Eugene. The two of them are great buddies who love to play underwater games, frolic with fish, and do other wacky water things in this idyllic underwater paradise. When Digit arrives, something is wrong. Mermaidos is murky and warm and the fish are leaving in droves. Digit feels terrible for his pal Eugene and promises to do what he can to make things right. It turns out Hacker has put a plan in motion to turn Mermaidos into his own personal hot tub! He is making the water hotter and hotter, raising the temperature to a hot 100 cyber-degrees- a temperature that would make Mermaidos uninhabitable for the Mermaidians and force them to move out. It is up to Digit and the CyberSquad to stop Hacker's plan, reverse the thermal pollution and help save Eugene's home.

Going for the local cuisine, Samantha joins Charlie and his wife to sample some of the popular banchan (side dishes) at an authentic restaurant, where Samantha also learns about the proper etiquette of eating and drinking. History and tradition are very important to Seoul, as Samantha experiences this celebration firsthand with the changing of the guard at the Gyeongbokgung Palace, which dates back to 1395. Venturing further, Samantha tours Bukchon Hanok Village on her way to learn about the artistry of Jogakbo, a style of patchwork, from a master artist. At the Korean Stone Art Stone Museum, Samantha explores the tranquil indoor/outdoor facility filled with over 1,250 life-like beautifully sculpted stone statues and learns about the purpose of their design. Samantha has a big night ahead of her, but first she takes a stroll through the Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival and takes in the gorgeous sights of the flowering cherry trees. Meeting up with some locals at a Chicken & Beer restaurant, Samantha learns about the five stages of drinking, which includes eating throughout the entire process. CYCLE AROUND JAPAN HIGHLIGHTS offers a way to discover Japan by bicycle and provides useful information to enjoy the adventure. Throughout the 13-part series, viewers vicariously experience breath-taking cycling adventures and see a side of Japan they won't find in the guidebooks. Journeys include a 330-kilometer ride through the northern land of Akita and a challenging ride up a 2,000-meter peak in Nagano Prefecture, which provides breathtaking views of the Japan Alps mountain pass. Along the way, riders take part in traditions such as the harvesting of wasabi plants and the making of baskets from wild bamboo. In every location, viewers are treated to the local culture, history, food and traditions that makes cycling around Japan such a unique journey.
Seoul is a huge metropolis and the capital of South Korea, where high-tech and pop culture meet palaces and street markets. Samantha starts her journey off by taking a tour in Yeonnam-Dong, with Charlie, an ex-pat living in Seoul for the past 10 years. This neighborhood has been re-purposed into a green space filled with a resurgence of diverse restaurants, and most importantly, coffee shops, where Samantha and Charlie try some of the area's best coffee. Going for the local cuisine, Samantha joins Charlie and his wife to sample some of the popular banchan (side dishes) at an authentic restaurant, where Samantha also learns about the proper etiquette of eating and drinking. History and tradition are very important to Seoul, as Samantha experiences this celebration firsthand with the changing of the guard at the Gyeongbokgung Palace, which dates back to 1395. Venturing further, Samantha tours Bukchon Hanok Village on her way to learn about the artistry of Jogakbo, a style of patchwork, from a master artist. At the Korean Stone Art Stone Museum, Samantha explores the tranquil indoor/outdoor facility filled with over 1,250 life-like beautifully sculpted stone statues and learns about the purpose of their design. Samantha has a big night ahead of her, but first she takes a stroll through the Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival and takes in the gorgeous sights of the flowering cherry trees. Meeting up with some locals at a Chicken & Beer restaurant, Samantha learns about the five stages of drinking, which includes eating throughout the entire process. From there, Samantha and her newfound friends go to Hongdae, a busy nightlife area thronging with students and K-Pop performers, and continue on to sign karaoke, closing the night out with a live performance by an indie rock band. Finishing off her trip, Samantha visits a local food market with Janet Harn, a local Chef, and picks out fresh ingredients to cook some local favorites in Janet's cooking studio.
