Overcoming Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, and Grief with Daniel Amen MD and Tana Amen
The world is in turmoil and Americans are the unhappiest they've been in 50 years. With millions sickened from COVID-19 and more than 300, 000 Americans dead in a global pandemic that brought social isolation, grief, fear, and an economy in tatters mixed with anti-racism protests after the killing of George Floyd and the ongoing political divide, we've been brought to our emotional knees. As a nation, we're feeling so stressed and unhappy, it sparked a dramatic rise in the number of new prescriptions for antidepressants, anti-anxiety medications and sleep aids during and after the pandemic. Depression, the opposite of being happy, tripled in just few months in early 2020, from 8.5%, which was already up from the prior decade, to a horrifying 27.8%. But you do not have to feel this way even when it seems like the world is crumbling around you. In this program, psychiatrist Dr. Daniel Amen, the author of Your Brain Is Always Listening; and his wife Tana Amen, an ICU nurse and author of The Relentless Courage of a Scared Child will show you how to tame the hidden dragons that cause these problems to help you feel happier, more positive and more in control of your own emotions.

It's "Just" Anxiety
IT'S "JUST" ANXIETY is a revealing documentary that introduces a dozen people from diverse backgrounds who describe their personal struggles with this mental health condition. Filmed over a period of five years, the documentary follows several individuals with anxiety symptoms ranging from excessive worry and fear to more extreme manifestations such as compulsive behavior and torturous panic attacks. June Moss, for instance, a retired staff sergeant in the U.S. Army, thrived in the real life or death scenarios of war, but upon returning home has been facing the debilitating effects of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Similarly, Scott Stossel, editor of the monthly magazine "The Atlantic" and author of "My Age of Anxiety: Fear, Hope, Dread, and the Search for Peace of Mind," has been grappling with his generalized anxiety and various therapies for years. Throughout the documentary he shares his personal history as both researcher and patient. Another individual, Jamie Blyth, found that the more he avoided his anxiety, the worse his symptoms got. He began a career in sales and signed on for the first season of "The Bachelorette" in order to face his social anxiety, an experience he reveals in the film. We also meet Lori Daniels, who has been swallowed up in a battle with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and confines herself to a single armchair in her living room. When she comes in contact with any person or object, she must run to the bathroom and aggressively wash her hands. However, by the end of the film, Lori is in therapy and poignantly thriving - shaking hands, petting cats, accepting hugs, and working as a teacher. With more than 40 million Americans suffering from anxiety, the one-hour documentary aims to destigmatize and humanize this debilitating yet treatable mental health issue. The inspiring real-life stories presented in the program demonstrate how those who suffer from this mental health issue can begin the path to recovery.

Great Electric Airplane Race
In 2016, Solar Impulse 2, a solar-powered all-electric plane, completed an epic round-the-world flight, a landmark in the long pursuit of an alternative to fossil fuel-powered aviation. Boeing, Airbus, Raytheon and other major companies are currently racing to develop practical short-haul passenger planes that promise to slash the operating costs and emissions of regular flights. But first, significant hurdles of battery weight, energy storage and cooling must be overcome. How long will it be before the dream of super-quiet, super-efficient airliners becomes a reality?

Father Brown
The Island of Dreams
Father Brown, Sergeant Goodfellow, Inspector Mallory and his family receive an invite for the 20th anniversary of Chummy's holiday camp. During the visit, owner Marjorie Chummy is strangled with an apron belonging to Mavis Jug, maid and general dogsbody at the camp. Inspector Mallory arrests her while Father Brown and Sergeant Goodfellow look at the other staff, Jock McCudgeon, Griff Grimshaw, and Sandy Beauchamp, at the camp who Mrs Chummy kept under a tight rein. Father Brown discovers a child, Billy Fairfield, had died in the past in the camp swimming pool that Mavis Jug, then an "Orangecoat", and Mrs Chummy should have been supervising.
