The commercial seafood industry has been the economic cornerstone for Vietnamese Americans along the Mississippi Gulf Coast and has provided a grueling, yet rewarding, means of living. Generational disinterest, severe weather, and global economics are combining to end this way of life for many of those who came here five decades ago.
