It's a destination tourism spot on an island. The Alutiiq Museum and Archaeological Repository in Kodiak, Alaska, wants you to stop by. It recently received a grant from the American Indian-Alaska Native Tourism Association, in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service. April Counceller told ICT producer Shirley Sneve about the project. In New Mexico, one of the 19 pueblos has created a space to foster and grow community through various events and classes.
