On this episode of Travel Thru History We're dipping our toes into the largest Salt Water lake in the US, Salt Lake City, Utah. This mountain town is a budding metropolis complete with some of the the most awe-inspiring outdoor activities you can accomplish in one place. First, discover the beautiful architecture of the Utah State Capitol building. Utah is speckled with incredibly well-preserved, fossilized dinosaurs that are being discovered daily. The paleontologist's at Utah's Natural history museum are discovering its million year old history one rock at a time. Next, we hit mach 3 at Hill Aerospace Museum - a functioning air force base with dozens of airplanes to explore. Then, we "drive on" like a pioneer to "This is the Place Park" and tell the story of Utah's settlement through the eyes of its founder, Brigham Young.
