Theme: Growing up may involve some painful changes, but even adults can have fun. Owen's parents try to get him to give up his favorite blanket before he starts school. Their individual ideas fail but together they come up with a compromise that works for everyone. In flashbacks viewers see LeVar as a child as he shares how he dealt with changes- from adjusting to a new sibling to attending the first day of kindergarten. Then we visit comic book creators who write and illustrate these "picture books."
