It is a land where crumbling medieval villages abandoned by humans long ago have been resettled by elegant storks - the mythical child-bearers of olden times. There are bats in the crumbling castles, and in the Basilica, we follow one family of mouse-eared bats as they struggle to bring up their fragile young in the ruined walls.
