April 24, 1955. The widow Malloy and Dave her son are being threatened to sell their land or else. Annie gets invovled to set things right.
May 1, 1955. A Diablo rancher hires an ex-convict named Steve Bailey. Steves outlaw brother shows up and tries to keep Steve from going straight.
A poor miner's daughter comes to town, but her father exaggerated his success in letters to her. Bill tries to keep the daughter from learning the truth, even going as far as pretending to be the outlaw Calico Kid. Lee Van Cleef guest stars as Stace.
May 19, 1955. The Pawnee strip is a piece of Federal land that has long been a haven for outlaws. When the government finally sends an officer down to Wileyville so they can open up the strip for homesteading, the courier is killed.
May 24, 1955. A professor and his men are taking a survey on the Navajo Reservation land so that they can get to the rock oil that is underneath the rocks.
A competing store owner is charging lower prices than Judge Wiley can. Half of the supplies meant for the Indian reservation are lost in transit. Are the two events connected? William Fawcett guest stars as the teamster, Poke.
