For millennia, gray whales have made an annual pilgrimage from the cold, rich marine waters in the Gulf of Alaska to the warm, protected waters of San Ignacio Lagoon. It turns out Hacker has put a plan in motion to turn Mermaidos into his own personal hot tub! He is making the water hotter and hotter, raising the temperature to a hot 100 cyber-degrees- a temperature that would make Mermaidos uninhabitable for the Mermaidians and force them to move out. Claims between the United States and the Marshall Islands are ongoing, and the health effects have created a legacy that still lingers from these tests. A New Island is a documentary about the displaced people of this region who have immigrated to Springdale, Arkansas. They come for better jobs, education, and health care. And they come legally. A New Island introduces us to some of the people who have made this journey, as they try to preserve their island culture while adapting to life in the middle of America.

Pam considers the tunnel dangerous, but is afraid of losing the dog's friendship if she reveals her secret. In the end, driven by her sense of worry, she decides to tell the dog's older sister and break the secret. We will then see that Pam did the right thing: she felt worried and spoke up.

Sabe - Honesty A large and imposing creature similar to Bigfoot, the Sabe, appears to teach the boy about the Law of Honesty. Beaver - Wisdom A Beaver scurries up to the boy from behind a fallen tree to provide the Law of Wisdom. Wolf - Humility The boy is startled as a Timber Wolf steps out of the shadow to explain the Law of Humility. Grandmother Turtle - Truth A beautiful traditional song draws the boy to a special encounter with a Turtle, who helps him understand the importance of the Law of Truth. All people, from all walks of life, are encouraged to create strong relationships with Indigenous Peoples and the land, guided by the Seven Sacred Laws.
