Sunday, June 25, 02:30 pm on KPBS

Duration: 0:25:40

Description: In the far south of Baja, we visit Bahia de Los Angeles, a tiny, peaceful town with so much to offer. From fishing to snorkeling with sea lions to sea turtle sightings, the place is its own natural Seaworld exhibit. Jorge Meraz sets out to find the elusive whale shark, and later, joins local artist Lucy and long-time resident of the area for some scallops, lobster, and clams. On the way back north, we stop at the small town of El Rosario to meet its oldest resident, "Mama" Espinoza.
