He led the tribe in battle and in peace, and navigated the difficult negotiations with the U.S. government that eventually provided the Shoshone with a permanent homeland along the eastern slopes of the Wind River Mountains. The Documentary, funded in part by the Wyoming State Legislature, features a wealth of historical photographs and artwork, as well as aerial photography shot over the Wind River Indian Reservation.
