But the Conductor has a hard time getting comfortable away from his train. Can the family and the Conductor pull together and help a family of beached Ichthyosaurs back into the ocean after the hurricane leaves them beached on the shore? Educational Objectives: Hurricanes (and other storms) often have major effects on both ocean and land animals, causing animals to change their behaviors, and sometimes resulting in devastation of coastal ecosystems.

The Wind River Virtual Museum is an attempt to preserve the observations of elders, whose numbers are diminishing rapidly on the Wind River Reservation.

In June of 1994, the Gila River Indian Community opened the doors to its first casino. 30 years have gone by and since then the tribe has grown its venture to the largest casino enterprise in Arizona owning four casinos and two resorts, partnering with sports teams in the NBA, NFL, and MLB. This has generated millions for the state of Arizona. We have a conversation with the Gila River Resorts and Casino's CEO Kenneth Manuel. Equitable voting rights for Indigenous communities continue to be a struggle. This being highlighted by the centennial of the Indian Citizenship Act. Post 1971, miners aren't covered under the Radiation Exposure and Compensation Act. This affected many Native American Uranium miners. We get the latest on a push to expand this act. And former President Donald Trump has been convicted of 34 felony counts. Holly Cook Macarro and ICT's Pauly Denetclaw have these stories. Funeral services are underway in Wisconsin for a prominent Native American rights leader. The family of Ernie Stevens Sr. shared that the 92 year old Oneida Nation of Wisconsin citizen died over the weekend. Stevens had a very long and storied career, working to ush self determination after graduating with a degree from MIT. He held many titles over the years, most notably as the executive director of the Los Angeles Indian Center and as the first vice president of the National Congress of American Indians.

This year marks 100 years since President Calvin Coolidge signed the Indian Citizenship Act into law. At the time, about half the Native American population was already considered citizens of their state or the United States. While this Act gave American citizenship to Native Americans, it did not immediately mean equal rights. ICT's political correspondent Pauly Denetclaw shares more. Last year, Wab Kinew made history after he was elected premier of Manitoba. He became the first Anishinaabe person to ever be premier of a Canadian province. Half a year later and Kinew is back in the powwow circle. Last week, up to 15,000 people attended the Manito Ahbee Festival in Winnipeg where Kinew hosted a men's Chicken dance special. APTN was there and has all of the sights and sounds.

Justice Delayed is Justice Denied tells of the ongoing struggle to ensure that the State of Hawai'i fulfills its commitments to the Native Hawaiian people stemming from the loss of their ancestral lands. The film describes the deep connection between Native Hawaiians and their ancestral lands, and how a portion of these lands were seized from the Hawaiian Kingdom after the overthrow in 1893 and placed in what today is called the Public Land Trust. The state administers this trust and is legally required to provide a portion of revenues from the trust to Native Hawaiians.
