The Pteranodon Family, with the Conductor, have raced on land a few times and in the air against Thurston Troodon, but have never raced in the water! Buddy, Tiny, and Mrs. Pteranodon are with Mr. Conductor in the Dinosaur Train Submarine, racing across the great Western Interior Sea against Thurston, Shiny, Don, and Mr. Pteranodon! On the way, they meet a new species of marine reptile, Leo the Liopleuridon, who helps Thurston a little too much in the race. / but he doesn't have wings like his siblings do! For 4 seasons, Buddy has run along while his siblings fly, although sometimes they carry him. When Shiny complains that Buddy is getting too big to carry around Pteranodon Terrace, Buddy feels sad for a little while, then decides to do something about it - build himself his own set of wings! Our Pteranodon kids love this, and they get to work designing and engineering, starting with funny homemade versions, a try-and-fail sequence with some hilarious crashes and some success, leading up to a cool, Leonardo-esque set of mechanical wings. The wings work! Buddy can fly with his siblings, and they have a triumphant flying session. But in the end, Buddy misses being carried. "Who am I kidding? I'm not a Pteranodon! I'm a T. rex who really loves to fly!" Buddy goes happily back to the status quo. And even better, he knows what to do with his mechanical wings - he gives them to the Pteranodon kid with a stunted wing. We end with them all flying together, the neighbor kid joyfully flying Buddy's mechanical wings.

The Mechas realize that gravity will start the race and build ramps to get the chickens moving. / Ranger Nat needs to get his telescope to the ranger tower to see Pinecone's Comet, but things go downhill when the telescope falls to the bottom of the cliff. The Mechas arrive to save the telescope, but get themselves and Ranger Nat stuck as well!

"Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood" is an animated series with live-action interstitials. Fred Rogers' original Neighborhood of Make Believe is recreated in vibrant color and texture; his signature puppet Daniel Striped Tiger is transformed into a curious and playful 4-year-old joined by his friends O the Owl, Prince Wednesday, Katerina Kittycat and Miss Elaina. The series curriculum is school-readiness and social-emotional learning, and each preschool themed episode offers a musical strategy for children and parents to use together.
Chef Pisghetti wants to surprise Netti with a bicycle ride around Endless Park for her birthday. The only problem is, he doesn't know how to ride a bike. Lucky for him, George is an expert! Rich Francis visits the Inuvialuit community of Inuvik, NWT, where he's eager to learn about the largest wild animal harvested on Turtle Island- the Beluga Whale! He will visit with Jimmy Kalinek, a local guide and hunter, and his uncle Daniel Rogers, who harvests Beluga for the community. He'll also meet Hank Rogers, an Elder who has been harvesting whale for over 60 years! He will join them for a meal of Muktuk, the whale's skin lined with the first layer of the Beluga's fat, and Kilituk, dried whale meat dipped in rendered whale fat, and learn how these staples have kept the Inuvialuit fed and warm for as long as they've been on the Beaufort Delta, and how this important food source has helped shape the culture of the Inuvialuit people. Jimmy and Daniel will take Rich out to the coastal shallows off Kendall Island, to learn the process involved in harvesting the whale, which can be as long as 18 feet. He'll also meet Jimmy and Daniel's family at their Whale Camp, as processing the whale is a job that requires many hands and is often a family endeavour. Together, they will teach Rich about the history and relevance of Beluga to the Inuvialuit of the Beaufort Delta and the process of processing this large food source. With his culinary imagination sparked by the flavours found along the Delta, Rich brings his new learnings to the firepit, inspired to create some new and exciting Beluga dishes for everyone to enjoy, including the viewers at home.

A New Island is a documentary about the displaced people of this region who have immigrated to Springdale, Arkansas. They come for better jobs, education, and health care. And they come legally. A prominent Native American rights leader from Wisconsin has died. The family of Ernie Stevens, Sr. shared the 92-year-old Oneida Nation of Wisconsin citizen died over the weekend. Stevens had a very long and storied career, working to push self-determination after graduating with a degree from MIT. An Indigenous community in Panama has been forced to relocate after climate change threatened its coastal town. The indigenous Gunas from the city of Gardi Sugdub had been preparing to move from their small island off the coast of Panama as their population grew, but hotter summers and fiercer storms quickened the evacuation. The Hawaiian volcano Kilauea has erupted. The activity started earlier this week on the Big Island in an area that last erupted in 1974. While the eruption has currently paused, about a half-mile of fissures opened in a remote location inside Volcanos National Park. Equitable voting rights for Indigenous communities continue to be a struggle. This is being highlighted by the centennial of the Indian Citizenship Act of 1924. Post-1971 miners aren't covered under the Radiation Exposure and Compensation Act. And former president Donald Trump has been convicted of 34 felony counts. Regular contributor Holly Cook Macarro joins ICT political correspondent Pauly Denetclaw and has updates.
