Deep Time
Ancient oceans teeming with life, Native Americans, and the descendants of Norwegian settlers team up with multinational oil corporations in western North Dakota to produce the most prolific oil boom on the planet. Following up his 2009 debut documentary feature Crude Independence (SXSW), Deep Time is director Noah Hutton's ethereal return to the same landowners, state officials, and oil workers he captured at the beginning of the Bakken oil boom, six years ago. With a new focus on the relationship of the indigenous peoples of North Dakota to their surging fossil wealth, Deep Time casts the ongoing boom in the context of paleo-cycles, climate change, and the dark ecology of the future.

The Price of Peace
A terrorist training camp is discovered in placid New Zealand. As we get to know the charismatic leader Tame Iti, accused of running the camp, the depth of animosity between sections of the Maori people and New Zealand's authorities unfolds. Sent to prison for weapon offences, Tame's legal case is mired in a legacy of colonial animosity. Over 7 years of filming, this wonderfully crafted doc unravels a complex national identity crisis.
One Day I Saw 10,000 Elephants
Spanish filmmaker Manuel Sanjuan was drawn to colonial Africa by rumours of a mysterious lake where it was said 10,000 elephants lived. "A New Island" Between 1946 and 1958 the United States tested 67 nuclear weapons in the Marshall Islands. Claims between the United States and the Marshall Islands are ongoing, and the health effects have created a legacy that still lingers from these tests. A New Island is a documentary about the displaced people of this region who have immigrated to Springdale, Arkansas. They come for better jobs, education, and health care. And they come legally. A New Island introduces us to some of the people who have made this journey, as they try to preserve their island culture while adapting to life in the middle of America.

Looking Toward Home, is a one hour documentary profiling the increasing number of Native Americans leaving the reservation for life in cities areas such as, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, and the San Francisco Bay Area. The Journey Begins
The six travelers begin their journey in heart of Canada; Winnipeg, Manitoba. Here they meet prominent Indigenous activist Michael Redhead Champagne who sheds some light on the road ahead. In Winnipeg their journey includes working alongside two community driven movements; the Bear Clan patrol which works to keep Winnipeg's notorious North End streets safe, and Drag the Red which takes on the sobering task of helping to solve cases of missing and murdered Indigenous women by searching the river, and the riverbank, for remains or other evidence. From Winnipeg the group travels over 2,000 km north to the remote Inuit community of Kimmirut where they discover life on the land is more intense than they ever could have imagined.
