In 2018, Thorn was elected as the chairwoman of the Rincon Economic Development Corporation of her tribe and has been on the board for 5 years. She oversees businesses that are owned by the tribe and is an active member of California chapter of the Native American Chamber of Commerce. This will be an immersive cultural experience: Native American Artists and their works which are truly the intersection of Fine Art and historical significance. As a content creator for the presentation of Fine Art as well as the critically-acclaimed docuseries Art of The City TV, she has captured the flavor and historical significance of Native American artistic relevance, and presents to the world the timely story of the cultural capital of the Indigenous people, a story that has always been on the right side of history and on the right side of Artistic Accomplishment; Illustrating Native American Art both as curating and illuminating through the lens of her knowledge and being.

After this, the final stop on the 28-day journey is in Ahousaht First Nation, on the west side of Vancouver Island. Historically, Ahousaht has suffered many issues, but in recent years, with strong leadership from within, the reserve has made many changes and turned the community around. It is here that they take the final key steps in their journey, and process all they have learned during this once in a lifetime experience.

Together, they will teach Rich about the history and relevance of Walleye to the Mohawk of the St. Lawrence river and Great Lake regions.
