Description: On December 22, 2021, Danny Wilber walked out of prison. He served 18 years for a murder he did not commit. In 2005, Wilber was convicted of first-degree homicide and was sentenced to life in prison. Ultimately, a small team, including his partner, Lacey Kinnart, worked with forensic experts to prove his innocence. Natural resources are something that many tribes rely on for survival and economic independence. But the Fort Nelson First Nation is heating things up. It's exploring geothermal energy. Shirley Sneve has this interview with Chief Sharleen Gale. Indigenous high school and college students took to Princeton University - and then to Capitol Hill in June.
